Correctly converting a design file is not an impossible
task, but it does require careful calculation and
a thorough understanding of what will be affected
and why. If conversions are not done correctly,
reference files will no longer be attached properly,
dimensioning elements will have extension lines
going off into space, named views will not be what
they used to be and the annotations representing
units of length, elevation, area and volume in text
